The
mission of the Neighborhood Networks Computer Labs is to help
residents increase self-sufficiency and job readiness through
educational and computer based activities by partnering with local
resources.
Through a grant from
the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development, the
Public Housing Authority of Butte operates Neighborhood Networks
Computer Labs at all four of their public housing properties.
These labs offer a wide
array of services to residents living in housing in Butte. Some of
these services include: Internet Access; Email Accounts; Job
Readiness Training; Computer Literacy Training; Adult Basic Education
Classes; Literacy Classes; Children’s Education Programs; and a
host of computer software programs ranging from K-12 educational
programs to astronomy, typing and learning foreign languages.

There are four
computers located at the New Deal Community Center, three computers
at the Rosalie Manor, two computers at the Elm Street computer lab,
and two computers at the Leggat Computer Lab.
