POSITION HAS BEEN FILLED

The Public Housing Authority of Butte is accepting applications for the following full-time position:

ACCOUNTING CLERK:  Responsibilities include processing accounts payables, payroll functions including reporting, conducting credit checks of housing applicants and assisting the Financial Manager with grant reporting.  Will assist with answering phones and collecting tenant rents.  Required qualifications include a high school diploma, college coursework in accounting and at least two years of office experience including payroll and accounts payable experience.  Should also have computer skills (preferably Microsoft Office), and outstanding customer service skills.  Starting salary will be determined based on experience and qualifications.  The hours of work are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm., Monday through Friday.
